Mooto Holdings Ltd – Researcher Terms and Conditions
By registering and confirming your offer as a Part-Time Researcher with Mooto Holdings Ltd (“the Company”), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:
1. Nature of Engagement
You are engaged on a project-based, part-time basis. Each assignment will be governed by a specific Engagement Contract or Terms of Reference outlining project scope, deliverables, timelines, and remuneration. This is not an employment contract; no retainer or monthly salary shall be payable outside active projects.
2. Remuneration and Tax
Payments will vary depending on project complexity, duration, and your role. All payments are subject to statutory deductions, including withholding tax in accordance with Zambian law. Payment will be made only after submission and acceptance of project deliverables.
3. Confidentiality
You must treat all information, data, and documents obtained during research as strictly confidential. You shall not disclose or use such information for personal or external purposes without written consent from the Company. This obligation remains even after the end of your engagement.
4. Ownership of Work
All research data, reports, proposals, and intellectual outputs developed under any Mooto Holdings project shall remain the exclusive property of the Company. You may not publish, reproduce, or share any work without prior written authorization.
5. Professional Conduct
Maintain high ethical standards, accuracy, and professionalism. Misrepresentation, plagiarism, or breach of confidentiality may result in immediate termination of your engagement.
6. Communication and Availability
Respond to official communication and adhere to timelines for assigned tasks. Failure to communicate or meet deadlines may affect future project assignments.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate participation in a project by written notice. The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate engagements for non-performance or misconduct.
8. Acceptance
By checking “I Accept” below, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
